SHEER Personality is operated by Reladium LLC (“SHEER,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to being thoughtful about how we collect, use, and protect your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you visit sheerpersonality.com, take the SHEER assessment, access your SHEER Profile or Insight Map, interact with Iris, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect information you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the Services, and certain technical information collected automatically.

Depending on how you use SHEER, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Account login information
• Assessment responses
• Personality dimension scores, tendencies, and related insights generated from your responses
• Information you provide while using Iris, including questions, reflections, examples, or other context you choose to share
• Information you provide when contacting us, requesting support, participating in a survey, or subscribing to communications
• Payment-related information, if you purchase an Insight Map or other paid service. Payment information is generally processed by our third-party payment provider and is not stored directly by SHEER.

When you complete the SHEER assessment, we generate information such as:

• Your placement across SHEER’s personality dimensions
• Your SHEER Profile or Insight Map
• Insights about how dimensions may interact with one another
• Recommendations, explanations, and responses generated through Iris
• Information connected to future SHEER features, such as relationship, team, or group overlays, if you choose to use them

SHEER is a personality and relational insight tool. It is not a medical, mental health, diagnostic, or clinical assessment.

We may automatically collect certain information about how you access and use the Services, including:

• IP address
• Browser type and device type
• Operating system
• Approximate location based on IP address
• Pages viewed and features used
• Dates, times, and duration of visits
• Referral source
• Cookie and similar technology data
• Error reports, performance information, and security-related logs

We use personal information to operate, improve, and protect SHEER.

This includes using information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Deliver your assessment results, SHEER Profile, Insight Map, and related content
• Personalize your experience based on your assessment responses
• Respond to questions you submit through Iris
• Process purchases and provide customer support
• Send transactional messages, such as account confirmations, receipts, service notices, and updates
• Send marketing communications when permitted by law or when you have opted in
• Understand how people use SHEER and improve our assessment, insights, website, and features
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand broad trends, improve the Services, and refine our framework. This information will not reasonably identify you.

Iris is SHEER’s AI-powered insight companion. When you use Iris, the information you submit may be processed to generate a response relevant to your SHEER results and question.

Please do not share highly sensitive information with Iris, including medical information, financial account information, Social Security numbers, passwords, or information you would not want processed through an AI-enabled service.

Iris is designed to support reflection and understanding. It is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, crisis service, or substitute for professional support.

We do not sell your assessment responses or personally identifiable Iris conversations to third parties. We also do not use your personally identifiable assessment responses to train public AI models.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share personal information in limited circumstances, including:

We may share information with trusted vendors that help us operate SHEER, such as providers for hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, customer support, security, and AI-enabled features. These providers may access information only as needed to perform services for us and subject to contractual or legal obligations to protect it.

If SHEER or Reladium LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law, legal process, or government requests
• Protect the rights, safety, and property of SHEER, our users, or others
• Investigate suspected fraud, security incidents, or misuse of the Services
• Enforce our Terms or other agreements

We may share information when you ask us to do so or give us permission. For example, a future SHEER relationship or team overlay may allow you to choose whether to share certain results with a partner, coach, facilitator, or team member.

SHEER may offer optional features that help people understand how their personality dimensions interact with those of another person, a couple, or a group.

These features are voluntary. We will not share your individual assessment results with another person simply because they participate in the same overlay, team, or relationship experience. Any sharing of identifiable results will occur only through the permissions and choices available within that feature.

We may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance, and improve the Services.

You can generally control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Services.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our business.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your personal information, subject to information we must retain for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

SHEER does not sell personal information and does not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.

SHEER is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@sheerpersonality.com, and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and delete the information where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page.
