SHEER Personality starts with an individual assessment. The SHEER Personality assessment places each of you along five relational dimensions. Each one is a spectrum, and every point along every spectrum carries its own strengths and tradeoffs. There are no right or wrong points across the spectrum: only information about how each of you operates, and how you're perceived by the other.

Answer a series of statements that explore how you relate to yourself, to others, and to the world around you. The assessment consists of approximately 60 statement-based questions and takes less than 10 minutes. Each of you takes it separately, on your own account.

Your position on all five spectrums plots into a single shape: your Constellation. Yours and theirs will differ, even where your positions on individual spectrums look similar, because the shape comes from how all five positions sit together.

Your Insight Map provides a detailed analysis of your personality across all five dimensions. For each dimension, you'll see what your position looks like from the inside, where it works in your favor, and where it tends to get misread by people who operate differently. Including, sometimes, the person you're doing this with.
Then Look at the Relationship Itself
Your individual results describe each of you. Your full free report reveals the ways your patterns can be interpreted by other people, providing valuable relational insights. But you can go even further and look at the specific relationship itself.

Overlays
An Overlay puts your Constellation and theirs on the same chart.
You'll see where you each sit across all five dimensions, then get a read on the relationship itself: how each of you likely experiences the other, where the ease comes from, and where friction tends to show up.
Overlays can reveal places of natural ease and places of predictable friction. The Overlay shows you where yours are, so the friction stops feeling like a character flaw and starts looking like a pattern you can name and work with.
An Overlay includes inquiry into a specific area you feel challenged in, based on your two shapes. You can use Overlays for insights into a romantic partner, a co-founder decision deadlock, a sibling dynamic that's been running since childhood, or a work relationship where you never see eye to eye.

Your Insight Guide answers your specific questions, based on your individual results.
Take your results further and get specific answers to the questions you find yourself asking again and again. Ask why the same argument keeps restarting. Ask how to raise something hard with someone who processes differently than you do. The Insight Guide answers in real time, grounded in your specific results, whenever the relationship needs more clarity.

Overlay and Insight Guide conversations are always private, even after someone shares their Constellation with you. They won't see the questions you ask about them; you won't see any questions they ask about you. What you each work through stays yours.
